Erin Callinan is not your run-of-the-mill consultant, speaker, and author - she is your go-to partner for creating real change! As the brains behind Beneath The Brave, Erin helps business leaders create a proactive, supportive, and compassionate culture of employee wellness.
Beneath The Brave is driven by Erin's lived experience with mental illness, professional expertise, and relentless commitment to revolutionizing the way we think about mental illness. With a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and more than 15 years of experience in executive leadership and mental health advocacy, Erin brings a wealth of knowledge. Translation: She knows her stuff.
Her passion for rewriting the narrative about mental health began in college as she adapted to “living with” rather than suffering from her mental illness diagnosis at 17. In 2013, Erin authored and published her book, "Beautifully Bipolar: An Inspiring Look Into Mental Illness," which launched her mental health career in motivational speaking. Erin has facilitated training in prisons, psychiatric hospitals, police headquarters, military bases, and crisis shelters for over 57,000 people around the country and is a certified instructor for Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
